Mr. Dan Rutherford was a Friend of my parents Ruth and Bill Brazzle when they owned Bill’s Hobby Town in Spanaway Washington, (1970’s-80’s) He was well known in the Model Airplane Control Line Combat Circles. Blessings to His Family.

Dan was very kind to me at the 1990 Nationals, introducing me to the Russian team that he sponsored. I still have the Fast Combat signed by them. I always enjoyed talking to him and reading his articles in Model Builder. He inspired me to design my own combat (Wolverine with 1/2A Shuriken power) that I used to place 2nd in the 1991 Nats. MACA forever!
