To the Ball family:
We are sorry to hear about the recent passing of Ben Ball. On behalf of my family, we take this time to express our personal condolences to the entire family, and friends of the family during this hour of great sadness. No there is never a welcomed time to hear about the reporting of anyone falling asleep in death. Death serves as a constant reminder of how far the human family has fallen from God original purpose for His earthly people, and the earth itself. So for the moment we find ourselves in search for words of comfort to help us deal with the passing of Ben Ball. May all grieving hearts please remember that God has neither forgotten about us, or our departed loved ones. In the scriptures He tells about a future time period in which He would cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. This promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. Really, from this one text God is giving us His personal guarantee that the restoring of life will take place. And to assist all to develop strong faith in this future blessing, God has preserved nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about this grand blessing that is near at hand. Here is just one such example that is recorded at John 11:32-44. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Ben, and a great host of others who await their personal awaiting from the deep sleep of death. So, may all please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise. It becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
