Irene Mary Westbury

August 6th, 1949 - August 12th 2016

We honor Irene Westbury's memory through her children and her many friends around the world. Irene lived her life for others; she dedicated her life to others.  She taught her children to be strong, independent and kind people.  She was a mother who loved unconditionally. She went on to teach empowerment to victims of abuse and those who were impoverished.  For all the hard work she did helping those who could not help themselves, she will be missed by many all over the world and many will be able to carry on her memory through their successes. Irene is survived by her children, Craig, Alexandria and Richard and her grandchildren, Makayla, Dakari and Britton.

You have seen me change from a little girl to the young woman I am

And I thank you for helping me get there

It is just so unfortunate that I am getting married when you are gone,

We have changed the wedding dates do you know that Irene?

With your love and support you helped me believe

That I can do whatever I want to

Because of that I thank you

I hope you remember that even when you are gone

I am one of the person that will always remember Irene.
She was like my granny here in Malawi as she took over as a Mother to my Mum when her mum had died. She was an Angel, a scent from heaven. I am always thinking about you and praying for you. Irene will always be missed.

loosing a mother is a pain that cannot be described in words. It is impossible to move from the memory of losing the woman who sacrificed happiness in her life so that you could be a better one. Irene whereever you are your memories during the time we spend together in Lesotho are my life's solace. You have ben there for me when no one else could be and you made me something from no one.. Your death has caged me in pain, agony, and misery, but i dont mind suffering..atleast it has set you free. I will always love, miss and pray for you. LORD AS YOU SAID IN MATTHEW 11:28 " Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" YOU HAVE CALLED UPON IRENE AND YOUR TIMING IS ALWAYS PERFECT SET IRENE FREE AND LET HER SOUL REST IN ETERNAL LIFE WITH JESUS....AMEN.
