Marcie was a student of life and teacher to many.
I admired her discipline, conscientiousness, and self-advocacy. I have many lovely memories, especially from this, our last summer and fall, e.g. visiting Jim Creek in Mike& Marcie's Winnebago, attending a lock concert for her birthday, celebrating my, Stacey's, and Mike's birthday.
I wish she could have stayed longer, but she was ready to be free from her body.
I love you sister and will miss you! I will play James Taylor to remember our last afternoon together.
Love, Cynthia

I was shocked and very saddened to hear of Marcie's passing today.
I had the privilege of working with her last year at Westgate Elementary.
We shared the same space in our work as Paraeducators in Learning Support.
Marcie was kind, patient, and loving to the students and to her co-workers as well.
We became friends. I was sad to hear she would not be returning to our school this year.
My deep condolences to her family.
Lux Aeterna, Marcie. Thank you for being my friend.
