Wow. What an amazing experience this has been, (frankly all 33 years of it:) No regrets on this end, if I could wish anything for all of you wonderful people it would be that you have no regrets on yours. And..he hasn’t really gone anywhere – where would he go?! :) We are so much a part of each other that his heart is mine. The biggest change is the cessation of pain and for that I am so very grateful.
Thank you. Thank you for being who you are. You are doing the right things and making the right decisions.
Your friend always,
Susan Rivera

What a gift and a blessing to have been able to share a short but poignant part in your lives. I will miss Ed’s smile yet am grateful he is now pain free. I will treasure your friendship that I gained by caring for Ed always. He was so lucky to have you!!! Love and Hugs <3

What can I cay about Eddie. He had a big heart and was full of life. He and Susan were so completely devoted to one another and their family. It is a blessing that he is no longer in pain and he can now be free from the illnesses. His physical presence will be missed but his spiritual presence will live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Susan – My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I’m glad that Eddie isn’t in pain anymore. And, as you say, where would he go? He was such a large presence in many lives that I think he’ll always be remembered fondly and with smiles. It was an honor to know you both and I have always been in awe of your generosity and how he always tried to rally back. Thinking of you… Barb

I never met Eddie so it is difficult to write about him. I know he made a good choice in Susan. I’m sorry for your loss.

As loved ones come into and go from our lives, they leave footprints on our hearts and minds, leaving us their love and memories until we can all be together again. So sorry your best friend and love isn’t there to hold your hand and share his love openly any more, but for him we are so happy he is out of his encumbered physical body. Our hugs and prayers are with you.

Sue,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know what a difficult time this has been for you and that you have been such a pillar of strength! Although I never met Eddie, he must have been a special person to deserve you. I hope that you find healing and peace in the months to come.
