On February 17, 2021, Yao Lun Cheng, 89, of Seattle, WA rested from his labor on Earth after a sustained and valiant battle with COVID-19.
Yao Lun was born in China to C-wei and Shunguan Cheng. Throughout much of his adult life he was a hardworking man and a relentless perfectionist. Besides work and intellectual pursuits, he was an avid collector of many different things in life.
He was predeceased by his parents and one sister. He is survived by his wife, two children, and four grandchildren, as well as five other brothers and sisters.
No service is immediately planned. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped, supported, and cared for him in the past, especially during his final hospital stay at Swedish Hospital Edmonds and at Shoreline Health and Rehab Center after being discharged.
