Woody, 70, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, June 22nd, 2014. He had fought courageously with CHF and leukemia for several years.
He was born on November 13, 1943, in Hartford, Connecticut, to C. Alvin Brunsell and May Sandberg Brunsell.
Woody graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1966 with a BS in Engineering. He was hired by Boeing in August of 1966 as a flight test engineer and enjoyed a very distinguished 47 year plus career at Boeing. Woody was a member of the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace.
Woody enjoyed his pool and bowling leagues and was a member of their national organizations. Woody was a season ticket holder for his beloved Seattle Storm team and enjoyed renting suites with his friends for Storm games and other special events.
Woody will be dearly missed by his brother David J. Brunsell of Hartford, CT, and by his close friends in the Seattle area. He cherished the friends that he made at work and at the bowling and pool leagues. He was known by all for his kind and generous heart.
The family would like to thank Dr. Birchfield and staff at the Swedish Cancer Institute, the doctors and staff at Summit Cardiology, and the doctors and staff at Northwest Hospital ICU for his medical care.
