Sally Ann Oliver, an area resident for over 60 years, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in Seattle, Washington. She was 68. Born in Seattle on April 19, 1947, Sally attended area schools, graduating from Edmonds High School in Edmonds, Washington.
Sally enjoyed arts and crafts, along with donating her time to local charitable organizations, but her real passion was her family- human and animal alike. There was nothing she enjoyed more than talking to and spending time with her daughters and her husband; each knew how incredibly lucky they were to have such a compassionate and thoughtful person in their life. She never once forgot something someone wanted and had mentioned only in passing, such as homemade mac & cheese, chex-mix, pimento cheese, or cookies. She always found a way to show her family and their friends just how much they meant to her. She was an amazing cook and our family & holiday dinners will never again be the same. “I’ll drink to that!”
Sally is preceded in death by her mother Helen, father Robert and beagles, Punky, Snooky and Hooter. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Michael of Kent, Washington; daughter, Molly and grand-dog, Sheila, of Covington, Washington; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Gabriel, of Des Moines, Washington; brother, Robert Colegrove, of Edmonds, Washington; and sister, Peggy Colegrove, of Sequim, Washington.
A private memorial service has been planned for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sally's name to
Saint Jude Children's Hospital
