Robert Anthony Archey Sr

d. August 13, 2024

Robert Anthony Archey Sr (Bob) left a legacy of love and kindness as he passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on August 13, 2024, in Seattle, WA. After a long battle with Parkinson's Disease, Bob is now at peace.

Bob was born in Pittsfield, MA, to Elrick (Al) Archey and Cecilia (Mara) Archey. With a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Notre Dame University and a proud veteran of the Army Reserves, Bob dedicated nearly 30 years of his life to AT&T before earning a master's in organizational development from American University, and starting his own business, Roundtable Associates, with his wife Marianne (Sangiovanni) Archey. After living many years in New Jersey, Bob and Marianne relocated to Olympia, Washington and then made Seattle their home in 2000 and have thoroughly enjoyed their life there. Bob had a passion for food, wine, and cooking, and he and Marianne even won a local cooking competition in Seattle. Bob was also a lover of travel, music, and sports (particularly Notre Dame football). He was an active member of the Rotary Club and gave back to his community through volunteer work at local theaters and a local Seattle grammar school.

Bob was a sweet, loving, generous man with a heart of gold who was loved and admired by many. Bob's legacy lives on through his wife, Marianne; children, Kate, Jimmy, and Rob; and grandchildren, Andrew, Austin, and Surina. He is predeceased by his father Al, His mother Cecelia and his brother James (Jim). He will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to inspire love and kindness in the hearts of those who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The American Parkinsons Disease Association (APDA).
