Nancy Hansen (born Baldwin, formerly Harwood) passed away after a brief battle with cancer August 11, 2023.
Born in Seattle in 1946 to Noble and Hazel Baldwin, she grew up in Lake City with her beloved little sister Linda. She was a talented artist who began painting while a student at Nathan Hale High School a passion that continued throughout her life. She loved learning about spirituality, the stars (she could always tell you what the moon was in and which planet was in retrograde), creating beautiful living spaces, travels with her best friend Lizz and hearing people’s stories. She lived on Whidbey Island and is survived by daughters Dawn Nelson and Heather Hansen, grandson Riley and brother Joe. She also leaves behind her extended friends and family including the Venettis, Harwoods, granddogs Buddy and Huckleberry and too many others to name. Gone too soon, she will be missed.
