Marci fought cancer to the very end. She breathed her last at her home in Lynnwood, Washington, surrounded by friends and laughter.
Marci was absolutely dedicated and relentless at everything she put her mind to - joy, kindness, scholarship, doing one more, and kicking your ass. She built the life she wanted to live, and paid forward the help she got along the way whenever she could. She was a cunning warrior and a good friend. She is deeply missed.
Marci is survived by the members of Shintokan Dojo and a worldwide community of chosen family.
