Lupita R. Moreno, 89, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2020 in Seattle, WA. Lupita was born in El Cercado, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She moved to Corpus Christi, TX in 1949 when she married her husband, Celso C. Moreno, also of Corpus Christi, TX. She was a devoted wife and caring and loving mother of 7 children. Lupita dedicated her life to her home and family. She adored her 9 grandchildren and welcomed them with open and loving arms for summer vacations. Lupita loved plants and flowers and could coax almost any seed to grow and flourish, even in the arid climate of Phoenix, AZ, where Lupita and Celso moved upon his retirement from the Federal Government in 1995. She proudly became a U.S. citizen in 1983. Lupita is preceded in death by her husband, Celso, one brother and one sister. She is survived by her 7 children Diane Moseley, Frank Moreno, Mary Alice Lester, Veronica Gunderson-Frantz, Deborah Klimes, Celina Manning and Ted Moreno; 9 grandchildren Ben Gonzalez, David Gonzalez, Dustin Gunderson, Karl Klimes, Kody Klimes, Kerry Klimes, Christopher Manning, Katherine Manning, and Joseph Manning; and 5 great grandchildren Deborah Klimes, Laniakea Klimes, Legasi Klimes, Amelia Manning and Caroline Manning; as well as her 3 brothers, 1 sister and extended family in the United States and Mexico. Lupita R. Moreno, 89 años, falleció tranquilamente el 23 de febrero, 2020 en Seattle, Washington. Lupita nació en El Cercado, Nuevo León, México. Se mudo a Corpus Christi, Tejas después de casarse con su esposo Celso C. Moreno un residente de Corpus Christi, Tejas. Era una dedicada esposa y una cariñosa madre de siete hijos. Lupita dedicó su vida a su hogar y su familia. Ella adoraba sus nueve nietos y los recibía con abrazos abiertos y con mucho amor durante las visitas de ellos en las vacaciones de verano. Lupita adoraba las plantas y flores y pudo hacer nacer cualquiera semilla aunque vivía en el clima seco de Phoenix, Arizona donde Lupita y Celso se mudaron cuando Celso se jubiló de su posición en el gobierno federal en 1995. Ella acepto con orgullo la ciudadanía de los Estados Unidos en 1983. Lupita fue precedida en el descanso eternal por su esposo Celso, un hermano y una hermana. Ella es sobrevivida por sus siete hijos Diana Moseley, Francisco Moreno, Maria Alicia Lester, Veronica Gunderson-Frantz, Deborah Klimes, Celina Manning y Teodoro Moreno; sus nueve nietos Ben Gonzalez, David Gonzalez, Dustin Gunderson, Karl Klimes, Kody Klimes, Kerry Klimes, Christopher Manning, Katherine Manning y Joseph Manning y cinco bisnietos Deborah Klimes, Laniakea Klimes, Legasi Klimes, Amelia Manning y Caroline Manning así como sus tres hermanos, una hermana, y su familia extendida en los Estados Unidos y México.
