Kenneth “Ken” Darwin Prichard was born October 12, 1922, in Schaller, Iowa to Clyde and Etta (Haitz) Prichard. Ken passed away on July 8, 2022, at the age of 99. Celebration of Life will be held at Evergreen-Washelli on July 28th at 10:00 AM. Ken served in the US Army during WWII as a Sergeant CO E 30th Regt 3rd Inf Div. He was imprisoned by the Germans from November 9, 1944 to April 29, 1945. He lived a long life after the war in the travel industry and an active volunteer with many different non-profit organizations in the Northwest. Ken was an avid reader, politically engaged, and always by the side of his beloved wife. He was predeceased by his three siblings: two brothers, Quentin Robert Prichard and Stanley Nicholas Prichard; one sister, Marion Prichard Biggins. He is survived by his wife, Nancy S. Prichard and his stepson Thomas Davis of Poulsbo, WA.
