Gladys B. Williams

Born in Mineola, NY in 1924. Passed away June 2, 2017 in Seattle, Washington. Gladys was the mother of three girls, Susan, JoAnn, and Mary, postmaster of Seahurst Post Office, and a World War II US Navy veteran. She met and married her husband, Leonard Williams, while attending Hofstra College. She graduated with a master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Michigan, then moved west with Leonard to work for Boeing. She enjoyed life in the Pacific Northwest, and we will miss her. A memorial service will be held at the Normandy Park United Church of Christ on Saturday, June 17 at 1:00 pm. She will be interred at Tahoma National Cemetery.
