Garrett Reid Price

d. October 28, 2023

Our beloved Garrett Reid Price tragically left us on October 28, 2023 at the age of 21. He has left behind his father, Liam, mother, Sue, and brother Jordan. Grandpa Gerry and Grandma Donna Price, and Grandma Marilyn Thompson, will miss him very much. He is also survived by aunts and uncles Jeff Thompson, Karen Luke Fildes and David George Gordon, Jeff and Nancy Woodworth, Jeff and Sally Gant, Mike and Claire Manke, and cousins Marian Call, David Pew, Ellen Kilcup, Broc, Derek and Pete Woodworth, Sean and Ron Hawkins, Annette and Mark Gant, Jane, Brett and R.J. Manke, and Tora, Zoe, Alden, Lily and, Brady.

Garrett grew up in Redmond, WA. He attended Redmond Elementary, Redmond Middle School, and Redmond High School. He graduated from Redmond High School in 2021. He was a running start student in high school and earned his AA degree at Bellevue College.  He was a strong mathematics student. He played trombone in band from 3rd to 11th grade.

He played baseball for many years, usually as catcher. He played on the All-Star team for Redmond West Little League in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

After elementary school he chose soccer as his main sport. He played soccer with Crossfire Select.  He was on the same team for eight years, and enjoyed traveling around the northwest and California with that team, culminating in a soccer-themed tour in England. He played for his high school team, the Redmond Mustangs and participated in Senior Night. Soccer was his passion.

This past year he enjoyed playing drop-in indoor soccer at Arena Sports twice a week. He loved Frisbee golf, pickleball, playing Yahtzee, and his cat Hank. Garrett loved to hike in the woods and to canoe.

Garrett is preceded in death by his Grandpa Ron Thompson.
