Sept 10, 1933 ~ March 12, 2016
Born in Seattle to Gertrude and Earl Lines he was the youngest of 4.
He loved the outdoors especially fishing and enjoying time with family.
He met the love of his life on a blind date and told everyone he was going to get married, Phyllis A Moore and don were married for 52.5 year before she passed away in 2013, together they had 3 kids, Richard (Judy), Phillip and Brandy. He loved to be a part of the activities that his kids were involved in having annual parties for birthdays and other special occasions. He was a longtime machinist at Boeing before going into supervision with his great “people skills.” He loved working at Boeing and was proud of each project he worked on and the people he worked with. After retirement in 2005 he and Phyllis traveled a bit and he loved to read, was a proud crime watch volunteer in Mountlake Terrace and loved to attend the sporting events for his grandson Koby and loved to see his granddaughter Elizabeth when he could. He was proud of his family in all aspects, from the nieces in Arizona to the family that lived close, and the new family he received with the addition of Judy, and especially his cousin Jan who introduced him to his life long love. He was preceded in death by his sister Alieen Huntington, his brothers Elmer “Joe” Lines, and Herbert Lines.
He was a force to be reckoned with and will be missed by so many. Thank you for all you taught us and for your unconditional love we know we weren't easy all the time but you loved us anyway.
Pot luck memorial will be held at the Edmonds Senior Center on April 2nd from 12-4 pm 220 Rail Road Ave, Edmonds, WA 98020.
