The son of Eugene and Patricia Melnick, Chris was born in Natick Massachusetts. He graduated from Bellevue Sammamish High School in 1986 and achieved an Associates Degree from Pima Medical Institute in Seattle.
Chris had an amazing wicked sense of humor and a sharp mind. He loved comedy, learning and spending time with his friends, neighbors, and family. In recent years Chris added additional light to the Sunshine state. He enjoyed creating a beautiful garden & home in Sacramento.
He is survived by his wife Madeline Woods, father Eugene Melnick, brother Tom Melnick, sisters Debora Nyquist and Peggy Nicolas, nieces Meghan Nyquist, Jessica Bernhardt, Jenna Melnick, Savannah & Abella Nicolas, nephews Jon & Jerrod Melnick, and Nick Nyquist, great neices and nephews Aly & Tyler Bernhardt and Terra Kohansby. He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Melnick and his brother Jim Melnick.
