Andrew passed away peacefully at age 99 in Seattle on July 19, 2017. A World War II veteran, Andrew served in the Pacific Theater as a radio operator on New Caledonia, Fiji and then Tinian Island. With his parents and brother and sister, Andrew operated a restaurant , the Boston Lunch, in Old Greek Town Chicago for many years, transitioning later to the Sherwin-Williams Paint Company, serving as a manager of a store in LaGrange Il. Andrew was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Levell Demos, his Daughter Barbara Brokaw; his brother William Demos and his sister Emily Claros. He is survived by his son Martin Demos, Martin's wife Melanie Sanguinetti who live in Chandler, AZ. Andrew also has two loving granddaughters Jami and Andrea Brokaw, his son-in-law Randy Brokaw and two great- grandchildren, Mia and Payton. Andrew was a life member of the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC. He was a deep humanist, a kind, caring man, who has left many friends who will forever remember and honor him. At Andrew's request, there will be no services.
