Andrea Gail Delaney

Andrea "Andy" Gail Delaney passed away on July 11, 2024, at age 86.
She was born to Clay and Mabel Burnard on April 6, 1938, and grew up on Waverly Way in Kirkland, Washington.

She attended Lake Washington High School where she was on the Drill Team and continued her education at Washington State University.
Andrea met her husband, Robert Paul "Buzz" Delaney, in grade school, but they did not start dating until after high school. They got married in 1962, and raised two daughters, Robin and Erin, in both Redmond, and Kirkland, Washington.

Her husband, Buzz, passed away in 1994, and in 2002, she moved to Maple Valley, Washington, to be close to her daughters.

Her career was marked by running her own business, and she retired just last year at 85 years young. She loved her job, gardening, reading, watching the Seahawks and Mariners, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her daughters, Robin Bond (Jason), and Erin McCallister (Kevin), and her two granddaughters, Bailey (21) and Samantha (17), as well as her twin brothers, John and Jay Burnard. She was an amazing Mom, Nana, Sister, and friend, and will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
