Linda Beryl (May) Forseth

Aug 1, 1944 – Jul 16, 2018

Linda was a longtime resident of Lake Forest Park and an active member in the local community.  Surrounded by family, she passed peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Calgary, Alberta Canada she spent the formable years of her life in the Seattle area, attending Annie Wright Seminary where her love of reading and language fostered a life of adventure and connection to people.  She found inspiration and purpose through faith, family, friends and fun. A devoted and active member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Shoreline, she made lifelong friendships with her outgoing personality.

Linda was happiest when with her best friend and husband, Paul, and the family she cherished so dearly.  Survived by her husband Paul, sons Chris (DayLene), Collin, Derek (Danelle) and seven grandchildren Madalyn, Drake, Ellie, Sawyer, Maclain, Kendall and Henry.

A successful and longtime Windermere agent, she was always there when someone needed help.  Whether running the concessions at Hamlin field to benefit UNIVAC youth sports, suiting up for the women’s tackle football team fund raiser or cheering for her grandkids from the sideline, a passion for providing support was always a priority.  She enjoyed travel, being close to the ocean, and particularly long afternoons and sunsets with Paul in their beloved Hawaii.

Linda will be deeply missed with a celebration of her life for family and friends held at Prince of Peace (14514 20th Ave. NE, Shoreline, WA) on August 25th at 11:00am.

Mom was a tremendous giver and strong role model who instilled a love for others to her family and those fortunate enough to be a part of her life. Your spirit will live on with so many.

Dear Paul and Family......I have such mixed feelings about Linda's passing. Sadness for the pain of your loss of the love of your life and celebrating that she is beyond the reach of the #$*&^% Cancer. She faced this trial with faith, grace and positivity. I have fond memories of the Hamlin Park Days. I was grateful to have connected with her again through facebook. Today and always, may loving memories of Linda bring you peace, comfort, and strength.
My Sincere Sympathy,

Jo Anne Tripp

Wonderful memories of fun times with Linda and Paul !! We moved a temple in Singapore with the monkey gods and she and the kids were alway looking for new adventures. Her love of life and big smile were front and center.
