Chester Davis went home to be with the Lord on April 23, 2016.

He was one of several children born in Georgia to Roosevelt and Louella on January 2, 1938.

As a young man Chester loved to Box and was truly happiest training in the ring and sparring.  He loved to do the “James Brown dance” for all the kids and was a jovial man with a beautiful smile and a lovely soul.  Chester loved to read the Holy Bible and especially loved the books of the new testament and memorizing Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

As a Veteran of the United Stated Army he received his discharge with honors. He was proud to have served his country and often spoke fondly of his time in service.

He is survived by daughters- Blanche Charmaine Davis-Frank of Folsom, California and Danette Eileen Davis-Baptiste of Seattle, Washington.  He was lovingly cared for in his last years by his granddaughter Alicia Taylor and had over 16 beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren all of whom loved him dearly.  He married Edna with whom he had his two daughters.

Chester will be laid to rest at the Tahoma National Cemetery,
18600 SE 240th Street
Kent, Washington 98042

Chester will be dearly missed by his family and we will see him again in eternity.
We love you Dad, you are forever in our hearts.

I knew him and worked with him in the kitchen at airway.
I hope the family knows how much respect Every one had for him. See you again my friend.
