Elizabeth Mary Overaa

Elizabeth Mary “Peggy” OVERAA of Seattle died of congestive heart failure on January 23, 2009 at the age of 79. Elizabeth was born in East Grinstead, U.K. on January 26, 1929 to William Arthur Botting and Rhoda Elizabeth Botting. (n?e Hiller). She departed England on September 19, 1947, whereupon she attended Snohomish High School near Seattle. On February 10, 1951 Elizabeth married Donald R. Overaa. Throughout her adult life, Peggy enjoyed donating to charities for the disadvantaged and for animals. She is survived by her devoted husband, Donald Overaa; sons Roderick Overaa (Shino Aizawa-) and James Overaa (Erin Giesler); sister Patricia “Pat” Carlton (Harry); grandchildren Andrew and Aidan; nieces Jill Carlton and Jennifer Mott (Kevin), and grand-niece Josie Mott.  At Peggy’s request no services will be held, and remembrances may be made in her name to Pasado’s Safe Haven or PAWS.
